The problem that wouldn't go away
Thousands of AI tools launch every month. They're scattered across newsletters, social feeds, and overwhelming directories you have to go and dig through. By the time you find the right one for a task, you've already done the task the hard way.
As a heavy user of these tools myself, I kept hitting the same wall: the problem was never a lack of tools — it was discovery at the right moment. Knowing a tool exists is useless if you don't remember it exactly when the friction hits.
What AICzar does differently
Every other AI directory is something you pull — you go to it, you search, you browse. AICzar is the opposite. It runs ambiently in the background, learns the shape of your work, and detects in real time when a workflow is stalling on something an AI tool could automate. Then it surfaces the exact tool to fix it — and nothing else.
And because it learns from how you work, we built it to learn privately. Everything stays on your device. No accounts, no telemetry, nothing uploaded. Your workflow is yours.
Built by RelicLab LLC
AICzar is designed, built, and owned by RelicLab LLC, an independent software studio. The browser extension is available now; a macOS desktop app that extends real-time detection across your whole workflow is in active development.
Where it's going
The version available today is the foundation: real-time, context-aware recommendations from a curated catalog of vetted AI tools. The roadmap deepens the real-time pain-point engine, brings the experience to the macOS desktop, and introduces a Pro tier for advanced automation — while keeping the core free and genuinely useful on its own.
