AICzar ("the extension," "we," "our") is a product of RelicLab LLC. It recommends relevant AI tools based on your role and your real-time browsing context. This policy explains exactly what data the extension handles and how.
What the extension stores
AICzar stores the following locally on your device only, in your browser's storage (IndexedDB and chrome.storage.local):
- The role and tasks you select during onboarding.
- Your settings and preferences, including the in-page suggestion toggle, per-site blocklist, and frequency controls.
- Activity used to generate recommendations — such as the domains you visit and time spent on them — and the state of the suggestions shown to you.
What we do not do
- We do not upload, transmit, sell, or share your browsing activity or personal data with us or any third party.
- We do not use analytics or telemetry. The extension makes no tracking calls.
- We do not read the contents of the pages you visit, your form inputs, passwords, or personal information. The extension reads only the domain of the current site to match it against its tool catalog.
- We do not create accounts or require you to sign in.
Network requests
The only outbound network requests AICzar makes are to Google's public favicon service (www.google.com/s2/favicons) to fetch the icons of the AI tools shown in the catalog and recommendations. These requests include only the public domain of the tool whose icon is being displayed — never your personal data.
You stay in control
Because all data is stored locally in your browser, it remains under your control. You can export or wipe your data at any time from the extension's Settings page. Removing the extension from your browser deletes its local data.
Future versions
The macOS app and future Pro features are in development. If a future version changes how data is handled in any way, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date before that version ships, and any new data practice will be clearly disclosed.
Children
AICzar is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
